Aero Engine Corporation of China (AECC), founded in 2016 by Central Government of China, is a grand SoE integrating the main R&D strengths of aero engine in China and establishing solid design and development capability, advanced manufacturing and production capacity, as well as complete service and supporting system. With a registered capital of 50 billion RMB, AECC has 27 subsidies, and more than 70,000 employees. Major products of AECC cover various military and commercial aero engines including turbofan, turbojet, turboshaft and turboprop, gas turbines, APUs, helicopter transmission systems, aero engine technology derivative products, and advanced aeronautical materials. These products have been widely applied in different sectors such as aerospace, defense, marine, energy, etc.
