Fujian Fuxin Special Steel Co., Ltd. is located in the Zhangzhou Taiwanese Investment and Development Zone. It was founded and invested by a Taiwanese Formosa Plastics enterprise in 2007, and is engaged in the stainless steel smelting industry. The project has a total investment of 1.499 billion US dollars, covers a land area of 1315 acres, and constructs 288000 square meters of factory and office facilities. It introduces international advanced technology and equipment, and has steelmaking, hot rolling, and pickling workshops as well as supporting public and auxiliary facilities, as metallurgical research and development facilities. The annual production of hot-rolled stainless steel coils is 720000 tons.
