As a large scaled solely state-owned company dealing with assets management, capital operation and production management, the Group has main business in metallurgy, textile, equipment, emergency, medicine, service and etc. Its main products and business include ductile iron pipes and fittings, steel gratings, steel, special steel pipes, steel for manufacturing, engineering machinery, textile, garments, dying and finishing, leather and leather shoes, rubber products, special and dedicated vehicle modification, oil equipment, equipment, medicine and business services and etc.

Xinxing Cathay International Group is a state level innovative enterprise. The Group is a fabrication, research and development foundation for ductile cast iron pipes, whose comprehensive strength and technical level is in leading position and output and sale volume is the highest in the world. It is also a large production, research and development base for logistics munitions, occupation wears, professional shoes and boots as well as large production, research and development base for steel grating and high end textile products. The Group owns three listed companies, Xinxing Ductile Iron Pipe Co., Ltd. (000778.SZ), Jihua Group Corporation Limited. (601718.SH), and Haiyao Co., Ltd. (000566.SZ). More than100 subordinate enterprises are located in 30 provinces (cities and autonomous regions) as well in countries as Canada, India, Indonesia, Zambia, South Korea, and Saudi Arabia and etc., among more than 30 of them are state-level Class I and II enterprises.
