Starting from construction of Daya Bay Nuclear Power Plant, China General Nuclear Power Corporation (CGN) has gradually grown into a world-class clean energy enterprise featuring nuclear energy and expanded its businesses into a “6+1” industrial model, covering nuclear energy, nuclear fuel, new energies, non-power nuclear technology applications, digitalization, tech-based environmental protection and industrial finance, over the course of four decades of development.  Headquartered in Shenzhen City Guangdong Province of China, CGN has two listed platforms in the Chinese Mainland and three listed platforms in Hong Kong.  Under the current leadership of Chairman Mr. Yang Changli, CGN now has 25 companies directly under its management, a total asset of over RMB 870 Billion and a staff of 43,000, with a global consolidated in-service installed clean energy capacity of about 72 GW, as of the end of August 2022.  Actively responding to the Chinese “Belt and Road” initiative, CGN now has a consolidated installed clean energy capacity of over 13 GW overseas, providing clean electricity to 15 countries and regions.
