China Tourism Group Corporation Limited

China Tourism Group Corporation Limited and China Travel Service (Holdings) Hong Kong Limited (“CTG Group” or the “Group”) are a key state-owned enterprise directly managed by the central government and one of the three central SOEs headquartered in Hong Kong. The predecessor of CTG Group was the Hong Kong branch of China Travel Service established in 1928 by Mr. Chen Guangfu, a patriotic Chinese banker. After more than nine decades development, CTG group has become a conglomerate which is comprised of six business segments, including travel service, tourism investment and operation, travel retail, hotel operation, travel finance and strategic innovation incubation, with its business network covering the mainland of China, Hong Kong, Macau and nearly 30 foreign countries and regions. CTG Group boasts a number of well-known tourism brands such as HKCTS, CITS, CTS and CDF, is the largest state-owned tourism enterprise in China. As of the end of 2019, the group has 43,000 employees, around RMB 130 billion in total assets, and 584 wholly-owned or controlled companies, receiving over 60 million tourists annually. CTG Travel Services Corporation LimitedCTG TRAVEL. Travel service business forms the basis of the Group’s business. CTG TRAVEL provides travel services for inbound, outbound and domestic tourists and business travellers with various standard and tailor-made products. It also operates MICE, visa and other documents processing businesses, running nearly 3,000 outlets at home and abroad. With the biggest market share, it operates oversea Chinese visa application centres in 25 foreign countries and regions. Authorised by the State Immigration Administration, it is the only designated unit to process “the Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macau Residents” and “the Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents” in Hong Kong.

CTG Investment Management Corporation LimitedCTG INVESTMENT. Tourism investment and operation business is the core business of CTG Group. CTG INVESTMENT owns and operates 30 scenic spots and resorts, developing green tourism real states and urban leisure residential complex accompanied with owned commercial property. Engaged in tourism performing arts, one of its subordinates, China Heaven Creation International Performing Arts Co. Ltd. has been awarded the title of “National Key Enterprise for Culture Export”. CTG INVESTMENT is also one of the major operators of cross-border passenger transportation services by water and land in Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau, covering all the 9+2 cities in the Greater Bay Area.

China Tourism Group Duty Free Corporation LimitedCTG DUTY-FREE. Travel retail business focused on duty-free goods is the competitive business of CTG Group. Owning full set of duty-free licenses, CTG DUTY-FREE operates over 200 duty-free shops in the mainland of China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and overseas, including Sanya International Duty Free Shopping Complex, the largest downtown single duty-free shop in the world. Ranked No.4 in global duty-free industry, CTG DUTY-FREE is one of the leading tourism-sector shares in domestic capital market and is named “Top 20 listed companies of A shares”.

CTG Hotel Holdings Corporation LimitedCTG HOTEL. Featuring three unique brands, namely “Metropark” “Kew Green” and “Traveler Inn”, CTG HOTEL owns and manages nearly 200 hotels with over 48,000 rooms in the world, covering more than 60 cities and regions in China, including Beijing, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Chongqing, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Macau. It also owns 42 hotels in London, Leeds, Birmingham, Lincoln, Portsmouth, Brighton and other cities in the UK.

CTG Financial Services Corporation LimitedCTG FINANCE. CTG FINANCE is consisted of the Chinese Tourism Industry Fund, tourism-featuring bank, financial leasing company and PrimeCredit Limited. With 34 branches in Hong Kong, PrimeCredit Limited is the largest non-bank consumer credit service provider in Hong Kong. 

CTG Asset Development Corporation LimitedCTG ASSET. CTG ASSETS has 47 subordinates in forms of wholly-owned, controlled, entrusted-managed, minority-shared, covering a wide range of business including commercial real estate, shopping complex, property operation and management, tourism transportation, asset management and disposal etc.

Moreover, CTG Group is incubating new tourism business types like cruise and recreational vehicle. It runs two cruises, one named “THE NANHAI DREAM”, operating the Sanya-Xisha route, the other named “PIANO LAND”, crowning the first independently-operated luxury intercontinental cruise in China. For the recreational vehicle business, it has launched several selected routes like the routes from Sichuan to Tibet and from Yunnan to Southeast Asia.
