China National Chemical Engineering Group Corporation Ltd. (abbreviated as CNCEC) is a large-scale engineering corporation directly supervised by the SASAC (State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council) of China. CNCEC is an international engineering enterprise with the most comprehensive qualifications, complete functions and integrated business chains. As the technology intensive and national demonstrative enterprise for intellectual property, CNCEC is not only the founder of China's petroleum and chemical industrial system, but also the provider of advanced industrial comprehensive solutions, the pioneer of China's construction engineering system and mechanism reform. Furthermore, CNCEC is the vanguard of "Belt and Road" Initiative, the leader in the field of clean energy engineering, and the construction practitioner of Beautiful China Initiative. CNCEC's root could extend back to 1953, the establishment of Design & Construction Companies under former Ministry of Heavy Industry. Since then, more than 90% of China's chemical engineering projects and over 50% of China's oil refining and petrochemical projects were executed by CNCEC. In the 1970s, by the completion of 4 sets of fiber units and 13 sets of fertilizer units in which foreign investment was adopted, CNCEC made outstanding contribution to solving the "eating and dressing" problems of Chinese people at that time. In 1984, CNCEC registered in the Bureau of Industry & Commerce Administration under the name of China National Chemical Engineering General Company and was renamed as China National Chemical Engineering Group Corporation in 2005. In September 2008, China National Chemical Engineering Co. Ltd. was established by China National Chemical Engineering Group Corporation, together with Shenhua Group and Sinochem Corporation. On January 7th, 2010, CNCEC successfully went public at Shanghai Stock Exchange.
