Henan Hondo Food Co., Ltd. Was founded in Biyang County, Zhumadian Henan in August 2011.During the 10 years’developing, Hondo has become a full production chain company which features in cattle research, livestock's scale breeding, slaughter and cutting, deep processing, marketing, cold chain logistics, products research and international trade. The company is expanding in primary sector, secondary sector and tertiary sector simultaneously.It is also awarded "National Key Leading Enterprise in Agriculture Industrialization".In 2020, the production value of Hondo full production chain reached CNY 3.6 billion. Hondo also made a major contribution to the development of XIA NAN NIU industrial cluster which reaches a production value of CNY 12 billion.

It has been 10 years since Hondo settled in Biyang County, Henan Province. Under the care of all leaders and all departments, Xia Nan Niu Industrialized Operation Programme has made a significant progress. With a total investment of CNY 2.5 billion, Hondo has built 6 projects including 1 plant, 2 lines, 2 bases and 1 center.

Hondo Beef products mainly contains 4 categories including raw food, pre-processed food, deeply processed food and cooked food. The annual production capacity could reach 26 thousand tons for frozen and fresh beef and 100 thousand tons for deeply processed products. Hondo Beef has passed ISO9001, ISO22000 and Halal Certification. Hondo is also awarded “China famous trademark”, “China Best 10 Beef brands for 2017”, “National Top Brand Agricultural Product for 2018”, “ Best 100 Private Enterprises of Henan Province for 2019”and “Key Leading Enterprise in poverty-support of Henan Province” which significantly raises the popularity and reputation of the company.

Hondo Group has a strong marketing management system and service network. It now has 1680 retail terminals in the supermarkets of first-tier cities; access to 30 e-commerce platforms; 13 cold-chain storage houses; 27 cold-chain logistics centers; 2200 large chain restaurants; 100 delivery partners offering beef to 5-star hotels; established 2000 community retail terminals; co-operated with 3000 we-chat terminals. Hondo is now selling its products to 28 provinces across the country.

Future Development Plan

Hondo is now planning to build a first-tier cattle industry cluster in China. The future objective for Hondo is to raise the production value of Xia Nan Niu industrial cluster to CNY 50 billion. It also aims to co-operate with 2000 agricultural enterprises and 30000 farmer families offering 20000 jobs in the future。Hondo will do its best to build Biyang County into a nationally famous beef central kitchen and business logistics center.
