Company profile

 

Beijing CP Commercial & Trading Co., Ltd. was established in 1987. In May 2002, it was transformed into a limited liability company from Beijing Chaoyang Non-staple Food Wholesale Company. An incorporated company was established after the share-trading reform in 2010. It is a subsidiary of Beijing JingKeLong Co. Ltd., a Hong Kong listed company (list code:0814).

 

1. Overview

(1) 500 million Yuan registered capital, with over 5 billion Yuan total assets.

(2) Organizational Structure (Management centers, Business divisions  &  Functional departments)

a)       Six management centers: Business Management Center, Human Resource Management Center, Financial Management Center, Information Processing Center, Logistics Distribution Center, and Non-local Business Management Center;

b)      Five functional departments: CPC Executive's Office, General Manager's Office, Enterprise Planning Department, Security Department, and Legal Affairs Department;

c)       Two business divisions: Alcoholic beverage Business Division and Food Business Divison.

(3) Organizational Structure (Subsidiaries)

a)       18 Subsidiaries in Beijing area: 4 wholly-owned subsidiaries and 14 holding companies;

b)      9 non-local subsidiaries: 4 wholly-owned subsidiaries and 6 holding companies;

c)       1 HongKong subsidiaries: Chaopi International Trading (HK) Limited.

 (4) Business Mode

With its large distribution channels, CP mainly acts as a wholesaler and brand agent supported by the logistics, and is engaged in exclusive agent, cooperative distribution, services, packing, warehousing & distribution, TPL , E-commerce and international business.

 

2. Business

Relying on its economic strength and marketing capability, CP has formed a diversified business pattern integrating as brand agent, e-commerce, private label, logistics and international trade. It has become a leading company of  FMCG trade and wholesale industry in China.

In the future, CP will extend  business scope to the upstream industry chain and develop into a powerful brand agent. CP will continue to consolidate the resources of online and offline channels, develop into a nationwide distributor. CP will continue to speed up the layout of  the supply chain in the international market and improve the level of  internet and intelligent development.

 

(1) Wholesale business

Brands

 The Company has established cooperative relationship with more than 500 well-known manufacturers, among which over 40 International famous brands choose the CP as their sole dealer, sole agent or the biggest distributor in Beijing. Its business covers over 20,000 items of more than 600 premium brands, including beverage, grains, snacks, instant drinks, daily products, personal care, cosmetics, cleaning supplies, knitwear and small home appliances.

Distribution Channels

The distribution channels of the Company cover nearly 20,000 retailers in Beijing and the surrounding areas, including department stores, warehousing member stores, large supermarkets, chains supermarket, convenience stores, small franchised stores and restaurants.

The company is rapidly expanding the market field with the group operation, selecting the regions with superior geographical location and convenient transportation in North China, and developing the cross provincial distributions and cross regional agent of the brands.

 

 (2) E-commerce Business

The company keeps pace with the times and develops e-commerce B2B channels rapidly. It has cooperated with more than ten large-scale e-commerce platforms such as JD.com, Kaola.com, T-mall Supply chain and Vip.com. The sales is increasing year after year, and the proportion of sales increased steadily. Meanwhile, it has developed the B2C business and open more than 100 flagship stores, franchise stores and brand stores on T-mall, JD mall, Pinduoduo and Tiktok platforms. The sales of stores have been significantly improved through the implementation of online KOL live streaming sales. In addition, it has actively carried out the cross-border business, strengthen the management of Wechat official account, Wechat shopping mall management, and carry out promotion and sales work in an orderly manner. In the future, it will continue to expand new retail business, and promote the development of the company's e-commerce business in the direction of multi platform, multi category and multi mode.

 

(3) OBM Business

 The Company implements the development model of independent R&D and cooperative customization. At present, there are couples of domestic private brands in operation, including Yinya, Childe Miao, Zhaoxixiangchu, Shangzhen and etc, covering snacks, seasoning, general merchandise, daily products and other categories. In the future, CP will continue to expand its categories, focus on quality control, and provide consumers with better product experience.

 

(4) International Business

The Company has developed overseas markets and import & export businesses, expanded the international multilateral trade model, and established relations of cooperation with enterprises in Europe, North America, Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand and other area. It has focused on the development of overseas direct purchase products, and successfully imported Mizland Manuka honey from New Zealand, Mediheal skincare products from Korea, Baikal reserve water from Russia, Polaar skincare from France, Malee coconuts water from Thailand, TVS kitchenware from Italian and other international well-known brands.

 

(5) TPL Services

With its own logistics distribution center resources, advanced computer management technology, and years of accumulated logistics distribution experience, the company has established a third-party logistics service cooperation relationship with a number of manufacturers and signed logistics cooperation agreements including distribution, storage, processing and other aspects, to provide high-quality third-party logistics distribution services. The distribution services covers Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shanxi, Shandong, Inner Mongolia and other regions.

 

3. Logistics Distribution Center

The Logistics Distribution Center is located in Laojuntang, Shibalidian, Chaoyang District. It is close to the southeast Fifth Ring Road, Beijing Shanghai Expressway and Beijing Tianjin Expressway, with convenient transportation conditions.

The Logistics Distributor Center has 220,000 square meters of modern warehouse area group, with an annual throughput of 90 million boxes. There are also sub warehouses in Fangshan, Changping and Fengtai. It links suburban counties, connects Beijing suburbs, and runs through the greater North China market. Two sets of automatic whole-carton sorting equipment with a total length of more than 2,000 meters are introduced, the sorting speed can reach 9,000 cartons/hour. There are also 3 automatic dismantling sorting lines, each assembly line can process 159 orders at the same time. The electronic label automatic disassembly system and WMS electronic label sorting system specially designed for small and medium-sized customers can complete the picking of more than 200,000 pieces of scattered goods every day. To meet the market needs, cold storage and cold chain distribution are added to our business scope .The transportation van  are management intensively and equipped with GPS positioning system, under the control of TMS transpiration management systems to ensure the goods can be traced. All vans meet the environmental protection requirements and national V standardization to meet logistics standardization operation and reduce emission. Information technology stimulate innovation, with efficient operation, mission will be achieved.

 Our new warehouse is located in Fangshan District. It covers an area of nearly 65,000 square meters, with a total construction area of more than 36,000 square meters, and has 30,000 storage spaces, with a maximum storage capacity of 1.35 million boxes. It has automatic solid warehouse, automatic dismantling sorting machines and automatic whole-carton sorting machines, introduces high-rise packing mode, increases picking storage space. By using the conveyor line to connect the operation areas, to realize the advanced logistics concept of "moving goods and replenishment automatically", which will become a new benchmark for our logistics service .
