China Tourism Group Corporation Limited

China Tourism Group Corporation Limited (CTG), also known as China Travel Service (Holdings) Hong Kong Limited, is a backbone state-owned enterprise directly managed by the central government and one of the central government-owned enterprises headquartered in Hong Kong. The history of the group dates back to the travel service department established under the Shanghai Commercial & Savings Bank on August 15, 1923. After over 100 years of development, CTG has formed a group structure consisting of eight major businesses namely China Tourism Group Travel Services Co., Ltd. (CTG Travel), China Travel International Investment Hong Kong Limited (CTG International), China Tourism Group Investment Management Co., Ltd. (CTG Investment), China Tourism Group Duty Free Co., Ltd. (CTG Duty-Free), China Tourism Group Hotel Holdings Co., Ltd. (CTG Hotel), CTG Development Corporation Limited (CTG Development), China Tourism Group Asset Development Co., Ltd. (CTG Asset) and China Tourism Group Cruises (Hainan) Co., Ltd. (CTG Cruises), with a network covering China’s mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and nearly 30 countries and regions abroad. Boasting many well-known tourism brands such as HKCTS, CITS, CTG and CDF, etc., the Group is the sole central government-owned enterprise taking tourism as its core business and a leading tourism enterprise in China, with the longest history, large scale and high brand value and subsidiaries across the complete tourism industrial chain. The profile of the Group's tourism businesses is as follows:

China Tourism Group Travel Services Co., Ltd. (CTG Travel), operates travelling services which is CTG’s core business, serving the customers in inbound, outbound, domestic travel, customized travel, MICE business, business travel, visa and travel document services, etc. with nearly 3,000 outlets in China and abroad. Its MICE business currently ranks first in the industry, and its travel document services are provided in visa application centres in 33 countries and regions, ranking first in market share. The Ministry of Public Security exclusively authorizes the company to act as sole agent to issue "Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents" and "Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents" in Hong Kong.

China Tourism Group Investment Management Co., Ltd., also known as China Travel International Investment (Shenzhen) Hong Kong Co., LTD., (CTG Investment) is a subsidiary of CTG Group which is one of the 16 SOEs controlled by the central government with "real estate development and operation" as their main business confirmed by the SASAC of the State Council. With the positioning of a characteristic premium real estate developer, the company takes it as its mission to provide better living experience for the urban residents. It has made investments in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and Yangtze River delta region, and expanded its presence in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River and the Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomerations, with footprints in Beijing, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Suzhou, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Chengdu, etc. 

China Tourism Group Duty Free Co., Ltd. (CTG Duty-Free)  operates tax-free tourism retail business as the flagship business of the Group. Holding comprehensive duty-free licenses, the company has established long-term cooperative relations with more than 1200 world-renowned brands. At present, it has opened more than 200 duty-free shops in Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas, ranking first spot in the global industry. Notably, it’s Haikou International Duty Free City Shopping Complex serves as the largest stand-alone duty-free store in the world. "CDFG" is listed as a leading tourism stock in domestic capital market and ranks in the "Top 20 Best A-Shares Listed Companies".

China Tourism Group Hotel Holdings Co., Ltd., abbreviated as "CTG Hotel", is running three hotel brands, namely Grand Metropark, Kew Green and Traveler Inn. The company operates nearly 200 hotels around the world with more than 50,000 rooms, covering more than 60 cities in the mainland of China, such as Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Chongqing and Shenzhen, as well as 40 hotels in the UK, including London, Leeds, Birmingham, Lincoln, Portsmouth, Brighton, etc. 

China Tourism Group Development Corporation Limited (CTG Development) operates PrimeCredit Limited, Kai Fu Property Services Company Limited, Wilson Service Limited, as well as industry funds, financial leasing service, and insurance brokerage service. Meanwhile Zhongyuan Bank Co., Ltd., Greater Bay Area Homeland Industry Fund together with other entities also witness a participation of CTG Development. CTG Development was restructured into a new entity in an attempt to implement central government's direction and CTG's strategy of "Based in Hong Kong, Achieve Excellence Overseas". CTG Development will focus on building up strength in Hong Kong while improving Hong Kong people's livelihood and local employment. With 34 branches in Hong Kong, its subsidiary PrimeCredit Limited (HK) is the largest non-bank consumer credit service provider in Hong Kong. 

China Tourism Group Asset Development Co., Ltd., referred to as "CTG Asset", has 47 affiliated companies, either wholly-owned or controlled, in trusteeship or with equity holding. Its business scope involves development of commercial real estate, commercial complexes, property operation and management, passenger transportation, asset management and disposal etc. The RV travel business has opened up RV routes like Sichuan-Tibet Line and Yunnan-Southeast Asia Line.

China Tourism Group Cruises (Hainan) Co., Ltd. (CTG Cruises), is committed to fostering national cruise brands. The company is incubating two brands: Astro Ocean Cruise and Nanhai Cruises. As a member of the fleet under Astro Ocean International Cruise Co., Ltd., "Piano Land" with destination-less qualification in Hainan is the first luxury cruise ship independently operated by Chinese company. The cruise ship "Nanhai Dream" of Sansha Nanhai Dream Cruises Co., Ltd. operates the Sanya-Xisha route.
