Awawo handcrafts earthy pieces through design and authentic craftsmanship, using locally sourced eco-friendly bamboo and other natural materials, to provide captivating, timeless experiences. The company started in 2021 with bamboo reusable straws and subsequently introduced other products. We work with 43 artisan groups of which 60% are women and 33% are youth in rural areas of Malawi.
