Nearly a century ago, in 1928, Florindo Folle began his activities in the yerba mate industry in Xaxim, in the western region of Santa Catarina. Through a handcrafted process, he extracted and processed yerba mate, a typical plant of the local landscape. Recognizing a promising market, Mr. Folle went further, rening his industrial methods and he began to resell the products.
