We, the Kitagawa main family, were founded in Fushimi, Kyoto in the third year of Meireki (1657) in the Edo period. We have been particular about the techniques and ingredients that have been passed down for more than 360 years, and have walked together with Kyoto's food culture in the rich water-rich environment of Fushimi, Kyoto.
