IMAFIR, a Mato Grosso institute, promotes development of beans, pulses, specialty crops, and irrigation. It conducts research to adapt cultivars, improve productivity and quality, and trains producers and technicians. Partnering with APROFIR, the state government, UFV, and research bodies, IMAFIR supports public policies and a strategic agribusiness agenda in the state.
