Mewstone is a family-owned winery in southern Tasmania, founded by brothers Matthew and Jonathan Hughes in 2011. Overlooking the D’Entrecasteaux Channel, our estate vineyard is planted to Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Riesling. We make small-batch, cool-climate wines with minimal intervention, expressing Tasmania’s maritime climate, pristine environment and distinctive site.
