This wine has prominent floral aromas of violets, notes of wild fruit and a balsamic character typical of the Dão. Smooth notes of vanilla are also present due to its barrel-ageing.The fruity profile of the wine is again evident on the palate, with tannins of fine texture balanced by an excellent natural acidity.
