"We have developed a virtual reality (VR) based cognitive impairment diagnosis and training service product (Product name: BTCARE). This product has a lineup of mobile and kiosk types based on HMD (head-mounted display) sets. Based on the cognitive impairment diagnosis results from virtual reality, personalized cognitive rehabilitation training programs are provided, and the diagnosis and training data are shared with the responsible physician when necessary to be utilized in the patient's treatment. Through cognitive screening tests, we analyze individual cognitive levels and provide training processes and difficulties to improve the lacking cognitive areas, with continuous feedback on training results. The educational content has been developed for various cognitive function areas, including memory and executive function, and the training conducted in virtual reality includes game elements to stimulate interest. BTCARE's VR-based cognitive training program has been confirmed to have preventive effects against senile dementia through clinical research, and it is providing services to health centers, senior welfare centers, community centers, and hospitals."
