Located at southeast coast of China, Fujian Province, or Min for short, is bordered by Zhejiang Province to the northeast, Jiangxi Province to the west, Guangdong Province to the southwest, and facing Taiwan Province to the east across Taiwan strait. The longest part from north to south is 530 km while the widest part from west to east 480 km. It boasts nine cities including Fuzhou, Xiamen, Putian, Quanzhou, Zhangzhou, Longyan, Sanming, Nanping, Ningde and Pingtan Comprehensive Experimental Zone(Pingtan county), with Fuzhou as its capital.
