Those who qualify in the comprehensive evaluation will officially become the first batch of long-term volunteers for management posts at the first CIIE.

Through written tests, interviews and psychological tests, 25 candidates for long-term volunteers have been selected. They are mainly between the ages of 22-35, with an average age of 30. Among them, 64% are Party members or League members.

These volunteers come from a variety of industries, including nearly 30% acting as in-service employees, 5 people from government agencies and public institutions, and 5 masters and doctoral students from universities.

Over the one-week training course, these candidates were comprehensively trained and promoted in aspects such as foreign affairs, security, etiquette and volunteer services. According to the job demands of each batch of volunteers, the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Chinese Communist Youth League plans to conduct 20 training sessions for all volunteers from June to September with different points of focus.
