大家好，我是约瑟夫·希发基斯。感谢虹桥论坛秘书处邀请我参加第七届虹桥论坛，我将参与的话题是人工智能赋能新型工业化。过去两年来，生成式人工智能取得跨越式发展，关于大语言模型和各种人工智能+的讨论日趋热烈。我们看到，头部人工智能公司和研究机构正在不断推出令人震撼的新产品。然而，工业物联网时代背景下，人工智能赋能工业生产的效力和自主系统应用前景有待开拓，利用人工智能赋能传统系统工程学来打造卓有成效的智能体系尚有很大进步空间。

中国产业实力雄厚，拥有众多大型互联网公司和人工智能新兴企业，有足够的条件迎头赶上并在工业人工智能领域占据领先地位，我们所看到的仅仅是开始。世界正以前所未有的速度迈入智能时代，而人工智能符合理性、合乎伦理的应用将成为人类文明的基石。我将分享我对人工智能未来发展趋势的看法，探讨政策制定者和业界如何更好地将人工智能应用于下一代生产体系，期待见证一场成果丰硕的讨论。谢谢。

Hello. I’m Joseph Sifakis. I would like to thank the Secretariat of the Hongqiao International Economic Forum for inviting me to attend the 7th session of the Forum for the topic of Artificial Intelligence Empowering New Industrialization. Over the past two years, generative artificial intelligence has taken a great leap forward. Discussions about large linguistic models and all kinds of AI+ are going strong. It is undeniable that major AI companies and research institutes are constantly launching amazing new products. However, the impact of AI in industry and the vision of autonomous systems promised by the Industrial IoT remain limited. There is still much progress to be made in marrying AI with traditional systems engineering to produce intelligent systems with guaranteed reliability.

In this context, China, with its strong and extensive industry, internet giants and AI startups is well placed to catch up and take the lead in industrial AI. This is just the beginning. We are entering the age of intelligence at an unprecedented speed where the reasoned and ethical application of AI must become the cornerstone of our civilization. In my speech, I will share my understanding of the future development trends of AI and how policy makers and industry insiders could better navigate AI for next generation production. I look forward to witnessing a meaningful and fruitful discussion. Thank you.
