乌兹别克斯坦成为第七届中国国际进口博览会的主宾国并非巧合。这再次突显了乌兹别克斯坦和中国之间密切的合作和友好关系。这也标志着我们两国之间贸易和经济关系的深化。如今，乌兹别克斯坦和中国在许多领域进行了合作。今年1月，乌兹别克斯坦共和国尊敬的总统沙夫卡特·米尔济约耶夫先生对中国进行了国事访问。我们两国领导人已将我们的合作提升为新时代全天候战略伙伴关系的新水平。这为我们在贸易和投资领域的双边合作开辟了新的前景。

如今，中国是乌兹别克斯坦最大的贸易伙伴。在2023年，双边贸易额达到了140亿美元。我们的目标是在不久的将来将双边贸易额增加到200亿美元。乌兹别克斯坦参加在中国举办的此类贸易展览会有助于两国之间贸易额的增长，为不同的投资项目提供新的机会。乌兹别克斯坦的农产品、食品工业、纺织、皮革、制药、化工、电气设备等产品将在乌兹别克斯坦国家馆展出。我们邀请所有参与者参观乌兹别克斯坦馆，了解新的商业机会。第七届中国国际进口博览会在中国展示高质量经济发展的背景下也将具有重要意义。我衷心祝愿第七届中国国际进口博览会取得巨大成功，并期待参会。

It is not coincidence that Uzbekistan is Guest of Honor country in the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE). It once again highlights close cooperation and friendship ties between Uzbekistan and China. It also signifies deepening trade and economic relations between our countries. Today Uzbekistan and China cooperate in many areas. In January this year honorable President of the Republic of Uzbekistan H.E. Mr. Shavkat Mirziyoyev paid state visit to China. The leaders of our two countries have elevated the level of our relations to all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership. It has opened new horizons in our bilateral cooperation, including in the sphere of trade and investment.

Today China is Uzbekistan's largest trading partner. In 2023 bilateral trade reached 14 billion US dollars. Our target is to increase the bilateral trade volume of mutual trade to 20 billion US dollars in the near future. Participation of Uzbekistan in such trade exhibitions and fairs in China contributes to the growth of trade turnover between our countries, and also provides new opportunities for different investment projects. Products of agriculture, food industry, textile, leather industry, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, electrical equipment and many other products from Uzbekistan will be displayed in the national pavilion of Uzbekistan during CIIE. We invite all the participants to visit the Uzbekistan pavilion and learn about new business opportunities. The 7th China International Import Expo will be also significant in the context of demonstration China’s high-quality economic development. I sincerely wish the 7th China International Import Expo huge success and look forward participating in the EXPO.
