Itinerary

DAY 1 Arrival- Beijing

Upon your arrival at Beijing Capital International Airport, your private guide will welcome you and take you all the way to the hotel. The rest of the days for you to relax and recover from the jet lag.

DAY 2 Beijing

Meet your tour guide at the hotel lobby and be escorted to Tiananmen Square, then to the Forbidden City, where the feudal monarchs worked and lived 600 years ago. After lunch, enjoy a leisure walk in hutongs to learn about the daily life of the local people. In a hutong, you will meet a cricket trainer, and he will share his stories about cricket fighting with you.

DAY 3 Beijing

Start the tour from the Temple of Heaven where your eyes will be caught by the elegance of the architectures. Join the locals' morning exercises such as Tai Chi, sword dance, Peking opera as well as Chinese calligraphy by writing on the ground with a huge brush dipped with clear water.

Afterwards, drive about 1.5 hours to visit the magnificent Great Wall (Mutianyu section, less crowded, with cable car up and down). Walking on the venerable ramparts, you will be amazed by the unbelievable constructions and the appealing landscapes around. After the tour, return to the city.

DAY 4 Beijing-Xi'an

Before heading to Xi'an by high-speed train, you will be escorted to the Summer Palace, the best imperial garden in Beijing, and a pearl store nearby. In the Summer Palace, you can also take a relaxing boat ride on Kunming Lake if the weather permits.

Arrive in Xi'an after 5.5-hour train ride, meet your private guide and be escorted to the hotel in downtown.

DAY 5 Xi'an

Today, you will see the legendary Terracotta Warriors which made Xi'an world-famous undoubtedly. These soldiers look still lifelike after having been buried underground over 2,200 years. You can even tell the difference from their vivid expressions. After spending around two hours there, you will be escorted back to the city to visit the ancient City Wall and a jade gallery.

DAY 6 Xi'an-Shanghai

In the morning, stroll along the Muslim Street to learn about the daily lives of the Chinese Muslims. And then visit the Shanxi History Museum to appreciate thousands of historical relics.

Take a 2.5-hour afternoon flight to Shanghai, you will be met at the airport and accompanied by your guide to the downtown hotel.

DAY 7 Shanghai

Your discovery tour in Shanghai includes: Yu Garden-a representative of Chinese classical gardens, Yuyuan Market-a bustling bazaar in the old city of Shanghai, a Silk Workshop- a place where you will learn how the white cocoons turn into colorful silk, the well-known Bund, Former French Concession, and Shanghai Tower- the tallest building in China and second to the Dubai Creek Tower. From the top of Shanghai Tower, you will enjoy a great panoramic view of the city.

DAY 8 Shanghai-Departure

Enjoy free time until your guide and driver escort you to the airport for your departure flight. It's time to say goodbye.
