IMX to display its cross-border e-commerce service system Release date: 2018-11-04

The International Merchandise Exchange & Exhibition (IMX) of Hong Kong King Wai Group Company Limited will participate in the first China International Import Expo (CIIE).

It has been announced that IMX will present its cross-border e-commerce service system in detail during the exhibition, including supply chain port services, commodity exhibitions, sales channels and other one-stop solutions.

A pioneer of cross-border e-commerce trading platforms in China, IMX has nearly 2 million square meters of service facilities in major Chinese cities (Shanghai’s Hongqiao District, Tianjin’s Wuqing District, and Chengdu’s Shuangliu District).

After its completion, the IMX will provide one-stop import commodity display transaction, port service and marketing channel solutions for overseas brand manufacturers, large-scale retail purchasers, professional buyers, cross-border e-commerce, and exhibition and sales agencies.

Ahead of the CIIE, the IMX Trade Show Center, located in the center of Shanghai’s Hongqiao Business District, started its trial operation, which will have a total floor area of about 110,000 square meters after completion. The Trade Show Center is an integrated convention and exhibition center, year-round exhibition hall and high-end office. Enjoying the advantages of a convenient transportation hub, professional teams and the latest information technology, the Trade Show Center will hold exhibitions and year-round commercial displays, providing a full range of marketing services.

At the same time, the IMX has established bonded warehousing in two-airport cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Chengdu. It has good customs clearance capabilities, and is linked with trade show centers, providing seamless and convenient cross-border supply chain services. Its unique operation mode of bonded warehousing and trade show centers enables global merchants not only to gain more orders at import exhibitions, but also to commence sales and distribution in China the next day.

In addition, the IMX utilizes block chain technology in international trade scenarios and supply chain finance, enabling three key areas: tracking the movement of goods throughout the supply chain; simplifying payments and cross-border settlements; and establishing traceability and integrity for goods.
