IVECO will display Daily Blue Power, its compressed natural gas vehicle, at the upcoming China International Import Expo. This new-energy vehicle was just awarded “LCV of the year 2018”, and it is the first LCV using compressed natural gas that adopts eight-gear automatic transmission, reaching the goals of low emissions and enjoyable driving.

According to IVECO, the Daily vehicle type has seen sales of over 3 million vehicles around the world. This type has won many international awards. In 2017, IVECO was honored as the champion of NGV Global, and its Daily EV and NGV have been also awarded the “Sustainable Vehicles of the Year”.

The reason why IVECO has chosen this type to put on display is that these Daily Blue Power sustainable development vehicles have successfully entered the market with three unique advantages: electric technology, natural gas technology, and the most advanced diesel technology in the market. This has helped this type of vehicle to meet the demands of the 2020 Real Driving Emissions Law three years ahead of schedule.

Currently, the Chinese government is making efforts toward “making our sky blue again”, and thus considerable attention has been paid to new energy. EVs are developing rapidly in the automotive field. IVECO thinks that natural gas is also an energy that is environmentally friendly, especially in business markets.
