"What's the reason behind it?"

"So the reason behind it we see is the policies laid out by the government and the pandemic control in the early times of pandemic were very effective. And focus on then economic recovery by putting in some growth policies in place to stimulate demand, these were very effective for us to restart our businesses and continue to serve our consumer and customers."

Wu Lei, Shanghai "What do you think about the business environment in China in recent years?"

Dr. Rajat Agarwal, Corporate Vice President, President of Henkel Greater China "And we have seen a sustained effort to continuously reform the economy and open it up also to foreign investors. This opening up has enabled many companies to participate in the growth of the Chinese economy. We look at, for example, the new foreign investment promotion law, this law allows for greater transparency and greater legal protections for foreign investors, so it gives us more confidence and ability to put more investments into the Chinese economy."
