A roadshow for promoting the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) was held in Nanjing, capital of Jiangsu province, on Aug 23.

Eighteen exhibitors from the Exhibition Area of Medical Equipment and Healthcare Products, including Medtronic, Organon and Becton Dickinson, attended the roadshow and showcased their featured products and technologies.

Over 200 buyers from Jiangsu also participated in the event to familiarize themselves with information about the expo's exhibitors and exhibits, registration procedures and services for participants.

The roadshow is meant to help Jiangsu drive open and innovative development across its entire biopharmaceutical industrial chain, said Li Guoqing, deputy director-general of the CIIE Bureau, at the event.

Li added that he hopes CIIE exhibitors and local buyers from Jiangsu will leverage this opportunity to enhance mutual understanding and cultivate potential partnerships.

During the roadshow, Xuchuan Chemical (Suzhou) and Taicang Supply Chain Finance Service Co Ltd signed memorandums of cooperation with the CIIE Bureau to become key buyers of the expo.
