Editor's Note: The fifth China International Import Expo will open today. Several participants of the CIIE are telling their stories themed around "great opportunity" to showcase the positive changes the expo has made to the world and how it has helped build a community with a shared future for mankind over the past five years.

Over 100 artworks were exhibited at the 1st CIIE main venue. These artworks condensed the history of modern and contemporary art. Tong Yanrunan, artistic director of the first CIIE, said that it was an important platform. The culture exchange was a crucial event and the artwork was a key way to promote cultural exchanges.
