Atem X, a new-generation air purifier, has emerged as a revolutionary product made by Swiss air purification technology company, IQAir. The stunning transformation of the Atem X from a conceptual exhibit to a flagship product was witnessed by the China International Import Expo, an annual global event held in Shanghai with growing influence.

Since it was inaugurated in 2018, the CIIE has become the premier platform for launching new products, showcasing cutting-edge technologies and promoting innovative services.

In 2021, the concept version of the Atem X made its debut at the fourth CIIE. IQAir took the expo to showcase its innovative vision for future air purification and gain insights from the feedback provided by Chinese consumers, businesses and government organizations.

Within just one year, IQAir developed the concept version into a flagship product. At the fifth CIIE in 2022, the company unveiled the Atem X which effectively filters out smoke, viruses, bacteria, allergens, mold spores and dust from the air. Its features include smart technology, with the integrated AutoPilot air quality sensor adjusting the purifier's settings based on real-time air quality conditions.

The strong interest shown at the CIIE prompted IQAir to launch the Atem X in the Chinese market after the fifth CIIE. The product quickly gained attention and popularity among consumers who prioritize respiratory health while also considering the appearance of home appliances.

The Atem X's transformation reflects the strong spillover effect of the CIIE, encouraging IQAir to offer higher-quality and more innovative air purification products to Chinese consumers.

"In October, we will launch an upgraded version, the Atem X ColdFire, which can remove formaldehyde, for sale through both online and offline channels," said Han Jingjing, vice-president of sales and marketing at IQAir China.

Through the CIIE, IQAir has increasingly realized that the Chinese market is highly innovative and demands adaptability to changes. "This presents both opportunities and challenges for foreign companies and facilitates international market innovation. IQAir has been actively responding to the expectations of the Chinese market, accelerating product innovation and creating exceptional products for Chinese consumers," Han said.
