CIIE Story • Voices of Exhibits| JAVA coffee machines experience visible changes at CIIE Release date: 2023-10-07    Source:China International Import Expo Bureau

Throughout each edition of the China International Import Expo, JAVA coffee machines undergo noticeable transformations.

The initial JAVA coffee machines showcased at the first CIIE were small Italian espresso machines placed on tables. These machines belonged to the category of traditional household coffee machines.

However, after participating in the following editions of the expo, the JAVA brand keenly sensed the new trends of intelligent consumption and unmanned retail, prompting strategic adjustments in product innovation and company development.

The company combined its expertise in coffee grinding and brewing with smart technology, introducing commercial products such as freshly ground coffee vending machines. As a result, the number of patents owned by the company has multiplied year by year.

The journey at the CIIE has not only propelled innovations in the company’s product application scenarios, but has also driven innovations in coffee consumption.

Shan Zhe, the deputy general manager of JAVA, said that the changes in JAVA coffee machines owe a great deal to the CIIE. This world-class event continually brings new inspiration to JAVA, enabling it to grasp new opportunities in the Chinese market, Shan said.

In each edition of the CIIE, JAVA always achieved much, with significant improvements in product sales and brand recognition. The company's exhibits quickly turn into commodities and entered the Chinese market.

For example, the JAVA intelligent unmanned freshly ground coffee vending machine, which has made consecutive appearances at the CIIE, has already been deployed in various locations in China, such as airports, universities and hotels.

Shan said that at the sixth CIIE this year the latest JAVA coffee and snack vending machine will be showcased. Considering that many coffee enthusiasts enjoy eating snacks while drinking coffee, JAVA coffee machines have once again been upgraded, adding snack vending functionality. They offer a wide array of options, including chocolates, biscuits, bread, sandwiches, and more.

"We believe that such a product can better meet the requirements of the Chinese market," Shan said. The CIIE serves as a compass for identifying new trends in the Chinese market and global industry, providing an excellent platform for sharing global opportunities, Shan added.
