Taking into consideration the actual financial needs of global buyers and exhibitors gathered at the China International Import Expo, Bank of Communications, the only State-owned bank headquartered in Shanghai, fully utilizes its advantages to provide diversified and differentiated cross-border financial services for exhibitors and purchasers.
During this year's expo in November, the bank will launch the "Digital Trade Service" cross-border financial service solution, driving product innovation and scenario integration through digital means.
By integrating cutting-edge technologies such as blockchain, big data, artificial intelligence, and cloud computing, the bank aims to create intelligent and tailored "Digital Trade Service" products, providing customers with end-to-end, all-encompassing cross-border financial services and enabling foreign trade enterprises to accelerate their transformation and upgrading.
Officials from the bank said they will better leverage the spillover effect of the CIIE, always focus on customer needs, and serve the real economy.
Bank of Communications, by connecting with cross-border e-commerce platforms and comprehensive trade service platforms, aims to open up new international trade channels for customers, especially small and micro foreign trade enterprises, and build a new bridge for cross-border funds.
In terms of connecting with cross-border e-commerce platforms, the bank has established payment systems and provided cross-border funding avenues for international trading enterprises, effectively addressing the issue of receiving and settling foreign exchange for small and micro companies, and improving the efficiency of enterprises' fund utilization.
The comprehensive trade service platform provides integrated services such as customs clearance, tax refund, logistics, insurance, settlement, and financing for small and medium-sized enterprises, helping them reduce trade costs and improve trade facilitation.
In terms of remote cross-border financial services, the bank has created the online service brand "Easy" and launched online products such as Easy "Remittance, Exchange, Deposit, Loan, and Certificate", achieving full coverage of online cross-border payment, settlement, trade financing, and foreign exchange transactions, and meeting the needs of enterprises to handle business without leaving their homes.
As a key support enterprise of the CIIE, Bank of Communications will strive to provide efficient and high-quality financial services to this year’s expo, and continue to deepen the cooperation with the CIIE.
