Coffee has become a daily necessity for many urbanites. Making a perfect cup of coffee requires premium coffee beans and excellent brewing techniques. But water, which can define the taste and quality of coffee, is just as important.

In light of this, Multipure, a US company that has been in the drinking water purification industry for more than 50 years, set up a coffee bar at the third and fourth editions of CIIE to make coffee using water filtered by its products for visitors. Many people could immediately tell the difference, thus learning about the importance of water in coffee-making for the first time.

Multipure first attended the CIIE in 2019 and has showcased its latest filtration systems to Chinese consumers at the expo for three consecutive years. During the second edition, we displayed a carbon block filter that is capable of removing contaminants while preserving minerals and micronutrients that the human body needs. We also presented our innovative technology that can effectively remove viruses, bacteria, heavy metals, radioactive materials, and residual chlorine in water.

The CIIE has increased Multipure's brand influence in China and resulted in a deluge of orders. We have also been impressed by the enormous Chinese market and the massive opportunities in it.

In September 2021, Multipure opened its first coffee shop in China in Guangzhou's Panyu district, and the shop soon took the number one position in the district on Dazhong Dianping, a popular rating app in China. We then unveiled similar cafes in Shanghai, Foshan, and Hunan, and are currently planning to open more in other cities.

In addition, Multipure is advancing cooperation with China's top tea brands and tea growers to inject fresh vitality to traditional Chinese tea culture with our water treatment technology.

At the upcoming fifth CIIE, Multipure will continue to showcase its high-performance filters and solutions.
