To ensure smooth and successful holding of the China International Import Expo (CIIE), the Shanghai Municipal Peoples Government has announced changes to working days for the city of shanghai.

The second China International Import Expo will be held on Nov.5-10. November 4 and 5, Monday and Tuesday, will be non-workdays, while November 2 and 9, both Saturdays, will be workdays.

The government said government organizations, except those responsible for the expo and essential city functions, are required to observe the changes. Stock Exchange and Companies  do not have to follow.
