CIIE holds matchmaking session for medical equipment, health products exhibition Release date: 2021-08-03    Source:China International Import Expo Bureau

The China International Import Expo Bureau held a supply-demand matchmaking session for the medical equipment and healthcare products exhibition area of the fourth CIIE in Beijing on July 30.

Participants included 20 exhibitors such as Medtronic, Johnson & Johnson, Roche, Takeda, and more than 40 medical institutions as well as industry leaders like Peking University People's Hospital, China-Japan Friendship Hospital, Capital Institute of Pediatrics, and China National Pharmaceutical Group.

Representatives from Medtronic, Takeda, and Terumo delivered speeches sharing about their gains from the CIIE and the latest trends in the medical industry at the meeting.

The matchmaking session is expected to build a platform where parties from the supply and demand sides can exchange information and forge cooperative ties, said Liu Fuxue, deputy director-general of the CIIE Bureau at the event.

Wang Kun, deputy director of the international business department of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, which is the organizer of the meeting and also the fourth CIIE's partner in terms of attracting buyers, said that ICBC will make full use of its advantages to improve the financial services for the medical industry.
