4th CIIE attracts buyers for trade in services exhibition Release date: 2021-09-08    Source:China International Import Expo Bureau

A roadshow for the trade in services exhibition of the fourth China International Import Expo, which will take place from Nov 5 to 10 in Shanghai, was held on Sept 6 in Jinhua, East China's Zhejiang province.

The event was targeted at purchasers from the freight and comprehensive services sectors. More than 50 buyers such as Huayi Brothers Media Corp, Zhejiang Flashforge 3D Technology Co, and Jinhua Jobo Technology Co attended the roadshow. Many purchasers invited by the Zhejiang trading group also got to watch the livestream of the event.

The roadshow provided details about the fourth expo's advantages and highlights of the trade in services exhibition area. A number of exhibitors from the exhibition area also presented their plans for this year's expo.

UPS, a US multinational shipping courier, will showcase its flexible and efficient smart logistics network and services to help small- and medium-sized enterprises accelerate their global development, said Chen Yingting, director of the business development and solutions department at UPS East and North China.

A series of sustainable solutions will also be displayed as part of UPS' efforts to promote green logistics, added Chen.

Professional services provider Deloitte will share its industrial insights and innovative service practices while taking emerging trends like digital economy and green development into consideration, said Liu Zhang, a management consulting project manager at Deloitte.

Japanese company Yusen Logistics will display a number of transportation solutions and its unified supply chain management IT platform Yusen Vantage, said Ma Liping, a project manager at Yusen Logistics China. The company is attending the expo for the fourth time as the CIIE has effectively helped with its promotion in China, added Ma.

Zhejiang province has been an active participant in the CIIE and has implemented active measures to expand imports. Jinhua, located in central Zhejiang, has also been ramping up efforts to import overseas products and improve its foreign trade structure.
