A roadshow for the food and agricultural products exhibition of the fourth China International Import Expo, which will take place from Nov 5 to 10 in Shanghai, was held on Sept 7 in Yiwu, East China's Zhejiang province.

The roadshow was targeted at purchasers, platform-based companies, and industry associations from Yiwu, a city renowned as the world's capital of small commodities.

The first part of the event provided details about the fourth expo's advantages, highlights of the food and agricultural products exhibition area, as well as the financial services provided by the Bank of China. A number of exhibitors from the exhibition area, such as Belgian chocolatier Galler and Japanese retail company Laox, also presented their plans for this year's expo.

During the subsequent matchmaking session, more than 100 domestic and overseas purchasers, including Dute (Yiwu) Supply Chain Management Co, Sunrise Trading Co, and Raha Food Processing Co, held talks with the exhibitors to explore business opportunities.
