Special committee of consumer goods for daily use prepares for 4th CIIE Release date: 2021-09-14    Source:China International Import Expo Bureau

The special committee of consumer goods for daily use of the China International Import Expo Enterprise Alliance held a meeting on Sept 9 to prepare for the 4th CIIE as well as to exchange views on the high-quality development of the industry.

During this year's expo, which will take place from Nov 5 to 10 in Shanghai, the special committee plans to invite livestreaming celebrities to promote the sales of exhibits at the consumer goods exhibition area. China's top internet influencers Wei Ya and Li Jiaqi are expected to promote new products at the expo through livestreaming as part of efforts to push forward the CIIE's digital transition.

The meeting also called for greater efforts to attract more professional visitors. Lan Zhenzhen, vice-president of L'Oreal North Asia and China, suggested that exhibitors invite their business partners involved in the industrial value chain to attend the expo.

L'Oreal, the chair for the special committee of consumer goods for daily use and also the rotating chairman of the CIIE Enterprise Alliance Council, has launched an "Enterprise Alliance Topology Campaign" with the CIIE Bureau to encourage members of the alliance to bring in more professional visitors.

The special committee had also organized a number of activities such as a livestreaming event and a forum last year to boost the high-quality development of the industry.
