A roadshow for the medical equipment and healthcare products exhibition of the fourth China International Import Expo, which will take place from Nov 5 to 10 in Shanghai, was held on Sept 14 at Suzhou Industrial Park in Suzhou, East China's Jiangsu province.

More than 100 medical institutions and purchasers from medical equipment and biomedicine sectors such as the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University and Jiangsu Biosurf Biotech Co attended the roadshow. Many purchasers also got to watch the livestream of the event.

The roadshow provided details about the fourth expo's advantages and highlights of the medical equipment and healthcare products exhibition area. A number of exhibitors from the exhibition area also presented their plans for this year's expo.

Signia will showcase its Augmented Xperience (AX) Hearing Aids platform and a series of products that are equipped with the latest technologies, said Yu Meile, a senior product manager at Signia. The company will be participating in the CIIE for the first time.

US multinational Danaher Corporation will display five systemic solutions focusing on disease control, precision medicine, and other subjects, said Li Longhui, director of the strategy and business development department at Danaher.

Boehringer Ingelheim, one of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies, and Perkin Elmer, a US analytical and diagnostic solutions provider, will set up two booths at the exhibition area and the biomedicine subsection, according to their representatives.

Suzhou Industrial Park is a national economic and technological development zone that has a leading position in the biomedicine and medical equipment industries. It has been actively participating in the CIIE and has held high-level forums at each of the previous three expos to expand cooperation and opening-up.
