Organizers of the fifth China International Import Expo, which will take place from Nov 5 to 10 in Shanghai, recently released new procurement plans of several purchasers to facilitate matchmaking between them and exhibitors.

According to the plans, trade missions from central State-owned enterprises, the National Health Commission, the places of Tianjin, Jiangsu, Chongqing, Sichuan and Guizhou are looking to purchase 150 varieties of products at the six exhibition areas of the expo.

For example, central SOEs are eyeing electrical devices and construction machinery at the intelligent industry and information technology exhibition area, beef and aquatic products at the food and agricultural products exhibition area, as well as logistics and consulting services at the trade in services exhibition area.

The trade mission from the National Health Commission wants to procure biochemical analysis systems, medical imaging equipment, life support systems and surgical robots from the medical equipment and healthcare products exhibition area.

Trade missions from the above-mentioned places will be eyeing daily chemicals, jewelry, home appliances and musical instruments at the consumer goods exhibition area, and auto parts at the automobile exhibition area.
