5th CIIE holds matchmaking session for consumer goods, trade in services exhibitions Release date: 2022-09-13    Source:China International Import Expo Bureau

A matchmaking session for the consumer goods and trade in services exhibitions of the fifth China International Import Expo was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) on Sept 8.

The event was also aimed at attracting purchasers from Shanghai.

More than 30 exhibitors from the consumer goods exhibition area, including BSH, P&G, Zara, and Karcher, as well as 17 from the trade in services exhibition area, including UPS, DHL, and Cushman & Wakefield, participated in the activity. The exhibitors are from various industries such as smart home appliances, fashion, cosmetics, sports, consultancy, logistics and financial services.

Nearly 100 purchasers, including China Resources, China National Offshore Oil Corporation, China National Gold Group, Lianhua Supermarket Holdings Co, and suning.com, were also in attendance.

During the event, consumer goods exhibitors showcased their new products such as smart indoor planters, steam cleaners, and serums, while services exhibitors presented their smart logistics and retail sales solutions, human resources services, as well as low-carbon and digital transformation services.

Liu Fuxue, deputy director-general of the CIIE Bureau, said expo organizers have completed efforts to attract exhibitors to the business exhibition and are now focusing on drawing more purchasers. More matchmaking sessions and roadshows will be rolled out to invite purchasers to the fifth CIIE, said Liu.
