My CIIE Story • Prominent Platform | Tyson confident about investing in China Release date: 2022-09-30 Source:China International Import Expo Bureau
Editor's Note: The fifth China International Import Expo is near. The "My CIIE Story" activity, which was launched on June 1, has drawn a great deal of attention and many people have shared their experiences related to the expo. A series of works themed on "grand strategy" and "big market" were published in July and August. In September, more stories with the theme "prominent platform", which showcase how the CIIE turns exhibits into commodities and exhibitors into investors, will be released.
Tyson will be participating in this year's CIIE in November for the third consecutive year. We expand our new booth at the food and agricultural products exhibition area to 216 square meters, doubling the booth size from the previous two editions and showing our long-term commitment to the Chinese market.

During the third and fourth CIIEs, Tyson's research and development engineers, who are usually responsible for turning raw materials from around the world into safe and healthy standard products, cooked a variety of delicacies, including steak, beef patties, and American sausages, for visitors twice a day.

People from different sectors gave us instant feedback after trying the food and this has helped Tyson develop products that better suit Chinese consumers' tastes.
The CIIE has also facilitated our communication with partners, and helped Tyson get much attention from industrial organizations and media, and become more popular among Chinese people.
China has always been one of our most important overseas markets. Tyson aims to generate 30 billion yuan ($4.17 billion) in sales revenue in 2025. To this end, we signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement in 2020 with the South Area of Hongqiao International Central Business District in Shanghai to establish regional headquarters.
