6th CIIE to show global fashion trends Release date: 2023-05-04 Source:China International Import Expo Bureau
A number of enterprises have confirmed their participation in the fashion and jewelry section of the sixth China International Import Expo, according to a promotional conference held on April 27.
The fashion and jewelry section, which is part of the consumer goods exhibition area of this year’s expo, will focus on the concept of sustainability.
Ning Feng, president of the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), which is the venue for the CIIE, stated that the section will gather world-renowned fashion brands, which cover medium and high-end consumer goods, including clothing, footwear, bags, and jewelry.
Ning added that this section will continue to set up the cultural relics and artworks subsection.
Cai Jinqing, president of Greater China at Kering, a French luxury group, said at the conference that the group has participated in the CIIE for four consecutive years and has further explored and expanded in the Chinese market.
According to Cai, the group serves as the president of the sustainable fashion and lifestyle special committee of the CIIE Enterprise Alliance. It will continue to facilitate dialogue among policymakers, international business peers, and Chinese partners, to better explore solutions and advance innovation in sustainable development.
Shao Tianyi, chief marketing officer of Muji China, a Japanese retail company, said at the conference that the CIIE has become a crucial platform for companies worldwide to enter the Chinese market and showcase their products to the world.
Muji is anticipating its debut at this year’s expo, through which it will showcase its corporate philosophy and high-quality products, Shao added.
