A promotional roadshow for the sixth China International Import Expo was held in Changsha, Hunan province, on Sept 19.

Eight exhibitors from the food and agricultural products and intelligent industry and information technology exhibition areas, including CP Group, Lesaffre, Keyence and Nobel, displayed their flagship products at the event.

Nearly 80 buyers from the province attended the event and learned more about the sixth CIIE's exhibitors and exhibits, registration procedures, as well as supportive measures.

Ma Fengmin, financial director of the CIIE Bureau, said that more than 360,000 square meters of exhibition area for the sixth CIIE, which will take place in Shanghai from Nov 5 to 10, has already been booked, and the number of participating Fortune Global 500 companies and industry leaders has also exceeded that of last year.

He noted that CIIE organizers will further optimize the composition of professional visitors, improve the services for registration, visits, negotiations and signing of contracts, and strengthen data empowerment to better assist exhibitors and buyers in connecting with each other.
