Lu Shaye, Chinese ambassador to France, said that France has been a regular participant in the CIIE and is the guest country of honor for the seventh edition this year. He encouraged more French enterprises to leverage the expo to increase their presence in China and offer high-quality products to Chinese consumers.

Sun Chenghai, deputy director-general of the CIIE Bureau, said that the booked exhibition area for the seventh CIIE has reached nearly 270,000 square meters, including about 20,000 square meters occupied by French companies.

French participation in the expo has consistently ranked at the forefront among all countries in terms of the number of exhibitors, exhibition area, and intended transaction volume, Sun added.

According to him, this year's expo plans to feature a zone called "From French farms to Chinese tables" in the food and agricultural products exhibition area.
