Addressing the event, Sun Chenghai, deputy director-general of the CIIE Bureau, said that over the past six years, "Made in Italy" has frequently appeared on the CIIE stage, showcasing Italian craftsmanship and presenting high-quality products and innovative concepts in industrial design, mechanical manufacturing, fashion, food, household appliances, and environmental protection.

Noting that this year marks the 20th anniversary of the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Italy, Sun expressed anticipation for the continued support of various sectors in Italy for the CIIE.

Liu Kan, Chinese consul general in Milan, said that the CIIE provides opportunities for enterprises from various countries, including Italy, to expand into the Chinese market.

He expressed hope that more Italian companies would leverage the CIIE platform to deepen their presence in China and bring more high-quality and distinctive products, technologies, and services to China to share opportunities in China's vast consumer market.

Fan Xianwei, secretary-general of Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Italy, affirmed the chamber's commitment to mobilizing more Italian enterprises to participate in the CIIE, thereby facilitating more trade deals, exploring further cooperation opportunities and securing tangible economic benefits for both China and Italy.
