A seminar promoting the seventh China International Import Expo was held in Rome, Italy on April 22, with representatives from Italian companies and business associations in attendance.

During the seminar, the CIIE working team introduced the highlights and preparations for the seventh CIIE's business exhibition, the Hongqiao International Economic Forum, and sectors such as cultural exchanges to representatives of Italian brands like Ferragamo, Bvlgari, and Farchioni, as well as associations including the Italy China Cultural Tourism Association.

Discussions at the seminar covered participation in the expo, customs facilitation, and the entry of exhibition goods. Representatives expressed keen interest in China's vast market and confirmed that they would be participating in this year's expo.

On the same day, the CIIE working team also visited the Italian Trade Agency (ITA). ITA representatives highlighted their previous efforts in mobilizing Italian companies to participate in the expo's business exhibition and cultural exchange events. The agency plans to invite more Italian enterprises to showcase advanced manufacturing techniques, cultural exchange projects, and innovative environmental concepts at the seventh CIIE.
