A session to promote the seventh China International Import Expo was held during Shanghai's promotion campaign in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on April 26.

Sun Chenghai, deputy director-general of the CIIE Bureau, welcomed Hong Kong enterprises to participate in this year's expo at the session.

Sun said that Hong Kong had achieved great success in the preceding six editions of the expo. He emphasized that the CIIE is an important platform for the region to more effectively integrate into the country's overall development and showcase its advantages in technology, industry and culture to the world.

During the session, Sun introduced the achievements of the previous six expos and promoted the seventh CIIE's country exhibition, business exhibition, events, culture exchange activities and its important part - the Hongqiao International Economic Forum.
