Inaugural roadshow for 7th CIIE held in Wuhan Release date: 2024-05-24    Source:China International Import Expo Bureau

The seventh China International Import Expo launched its inaugural roadshow on May 21 in Wuhan, capital of Central China's Hubei province, signaling the start of the nationwide buyer recruitment campaign for the annual expo, set to be held in East China's Shanghai in November.

More than 30 exhibitors from the food and agricultural products, intelligent industry and information technology, as well as medical equipment and healthcare products exhibition areas, including Mitsubishi Corporation, Keyence and Bayer, attended the roadshow. They held talks with over 200 buyers from Hubei, establishing contacts to pave the way for future cooperation.

Addressing the event, Sun Chenghai, deputy director-general of the CIIE Bureau, said that the seventh CIIE would optimize its exhibition areas and special sections while innovating exhibition themes and enriching its content to focus on cutting-edge global products, technologies and services.

Noting that registration for the seventh CIIE is now open to professional visitors both at home and abroad, Sun said that efforts would be intensified to improve buyer recruitment mechanism.

During the event, Wuhan International Trade Group and Angel Yeast signed memorandums of cooperation with the CIIE Bureau to be key buyers during the expo.

In addition, briefings were conducted on the overall preparation status of the seventh CIIE, the registration process for professional visitors and various service measures.
