A pre-expo supply-demand matchmaking meeting of the seventh China International Import Expo took place in Chizhou, Anhui province, on June 14.

A number of exhibitors from the automobile, medical equipment and healthcare products, and intelligent industry and information technology exhibition areas, such as Tesla, Keyence and Johnson & Johnson, attended the event.

Nearly 100 local buyers engaged in discussions and established initial business connections with exhibitors.

Addressing the attendees, Wu Zhengping, deputy director-general of the CIIE Bureau, said he welcomes businesses from Anhui to actively participate in this year's expo and utilize the high-level opening-up platform to achieve win-win results.

According to Wu, more than 1,000 enterprises from over 70 countries and regions have signed up for the seventh CIIE, with booked exhibition space reaching 325,000 square meters.

During the event, BOE Technology Group and Wuhu Token Science Co Ltd signed memorandums of cooperation with the CIIE Bureau to become key buyers.
