A pre-expo supply-demand matchmaking meeting for the consumer goods and trade in services exhibition areas of the seventh China International Import Expo was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) on July 9. It also served as a roadshow to invite buyers for the seventh CIIE, which will take place this November.

The event was attended by 39 exhibitors from the consumer goods exhibition area and 17 exhibitors from the trade in services exhibition area, including BWT, Mootaa, HSBC and UPS. Over 100 buyers, such as China National Offshore Oil Corporation, China Eastern Airlines, and China Resources Group, participated in the roadshow.

Addressing the attendees, Sun Chenghai, deputy director-general of the CIIE Bureau, said he hopes that the Shanghai trade mission will continue making efforts to mobilize buyers to participate in the CIIE and that buyers can take advantage of the CIIE to seize the opportunities presented by China's development.

During the roadshow, some exhibitors showcased their products, including BWT bestaqua 14 ROC Coffee SCA water filter, specialized home drain cleaning products from Mootaa and solutions related to innovative finance, digital transformation and smart logistics services.
