Editor's Note: The fourth China International Import Expo in November 2021 saw purchasers play a significant part in the expo's success by clinching a large number of deals with exhibitors. China National Machinery Industry Corporation (Sinomach) is a global group focused on technology research and development and advanced equipment manufacturing, as well as engineering contracting and supply chains.

The group also provides solutions related to machinery, energy, transportation, automobiles, light industry, shipbuilding and other important industries in the national economy. Sinomach has more than 300 overseas offices across more than 100 countries and regions.

Q: What did you gain from the fourth CIIE?

A: Because of the CIIE, Sinomach managed to sign a number of procurement contracts with its partners involving high-end equipment, imported automobiles, trade in services, bulk commodities, and food and agricultural products.

Q: Why have you attended the expo multiple times?

A: The CIIE is a window for multi-party dialogue and communications. As a State-owned enterprise, Sinomach feels it is its duty to play the role of a bridge between high-end foreign equipment manufacturers and domestic enterprises.

The CIIE is an important platform for enterprises to expand their business scope, meet potential partners, share business opportunities and seek common development. Sinomach, which has participated in the CIIE for four consecutive years, has taken full advantage of the platform to strengthen international cooperation and make contributions to the joint construction of an open world economy.

Q: What preparations did Sinomach make ahead of its participation in the fourth CIIE?

A: Last year marked the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the 20th anniversary of China's entry into the World Trade Organization. As part of the "national team" in the machinery industry, Sinomach gathered quality resources and done its part to support the national expo.
