C&D Inc is a modern service-oriented enterprise which specializes in supply chain operation and real estate development. It is actively involved in the transformation and upgrading of China's manufacturing industry and in the formation of China's new development pattern.

Q: What did C&D Inc gain from the fourth CIIE?

A: During the fourth CIIE, C&D Inc held seven signing ceremonies on import cooperation with partners including some of the world's top 500 multinational corporations like Syngenta, Olam International, JBS, and Fonterra. Products such as high-end medical equipment consumables, agricultural products, high-end consumer goods, and dairy products will be imported from these companies. By participating in the CIIE, we can efficiently communicate with more international partners and discuss ways to further expand import scale and improve the quality of imports in the Chinese market, where we hope that C&D Inc will become their strong supply chain operation partner.

Q: Can you share one achievement made possible by the CIIE?

A: At the inaugural CIIE, C&D Inc signed a contract with New Zealand's Fonterra Cooperative Group on import intentions for 2019-2021. Our goal was to generate more than 10 billion yuan ($1.58 billion) in dairy product import sales within three years - we achieved this goal ahead of schedule in 2020.

Q: Why have you attended the expo multiple times?

A: C&D Inc has benefited a lot from attending all editions of the expo. We have seen a comprehensive upgrade of the domestic consumer market, the market opportunities generated by people's aspiration for a better life, and more and more high-quality imported consumer goods reaching the Chinese market and consumers through the CIIE. We believe that the CIIE is an important platform for C&D Inc to connect global high-quality resources and China's large consumer market.
